Workplace Environment
(1) Implementation of employees’ welfare, training, and retirement system, employer-labor agreements, and employees’ benefits
1. As MACHVISION values employees’ family and health, overtime at night is discouraged. MACHVISION encourages employees to live regularly and maintain the balance between work and their family.
2. Employees’ Welfare
(1) Labor insurance, health insurance, group insurance, and employers’ liability insurance are covered by MACHVISION.
(2) Year-end bonuses will be distributed to employees at the end of every year.
(3) According to laws, welfare funds are appropriated to establish the Employee Welfare Committee and organize various activities, such as three Chinese festival bonuses, birthday activities and birthday gifts, wedding and funeral subsidies, and community activities.
(4) Annual domestic or overseas travel and regular health examination are provided.
3. Advanced studies, training and development
(1) As MACHVISION considers employees the most important assets, necessary and appropriate training development courses are provided for employees to stay competitive, to complete assignments, and to create MACHVISION’s core competences.
(2) Training development system
MACHVISION provides competence-based training courses to improve employees’ basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to achieve the business objectives, including:
a. Orientation: New staff training and new supervisor training.
b. Specialized training: Sales, production, R&D, finance, procurement, and administration.
c. General education: Company’s mission, culture, and value, customer satisfaction, and quality.
d. Direct employee training: Skill training at the assembly station.
e. Project-oriented training: R&D project symposium.
f. Self-development training: Speech, seminar, symposium, and in-service training.
(3) Implementation of training:
In 2020, MACHVISION spent NT$167,686 on the training. The type of training courses is summarized as follows:

4. Retirement System
To provide a stable life for employees after retirement, MACHVISION appropriates the retirement reserve for employees applicable to the old pension system every month under supervision of the Labor Retirement Reserve Supervisory Committee in accordance with the Labor Standards Act. The Committee is responsible to deposit the retirement reserve in the Bank of Taiwan in charge of the collection and spending, custody and utilization; for employees applicable to the new pension system, MACHVISION bears no less than six percent of the worker's monthly wage in accordance with the Labor Pension Act and deposits the pension reserve to the employee’s personal pension account set up by Bureau of Labor Insurance based on the Table of Monthly Contribution Wage Classification approved by the Executive Yuan.

6. Code of conduct
MACHVISION has formulated the Employee Handbook, where employees’ welfare are clearly specified based on the care and respect for employees. The Code of Conduct specifies MACHVISION’s expectations for all employees, which request employees to maintain MACHVISION’s assets, interests, and image in accordance with laws and the code of ethics. The data is published on the intranet for employees’ to review.
7. Employer-labor agreements and employees’ benefits
Since establishment, MACHVISION has adopted the humane self-management and gives full respect and care to employees by perfecting employees’ welfare and the working environment. Thus, the employer-labor relationship is harmonious. As of today, there is no dispute arising from employer-labor disputes.
